I am a post-doctoral researcher at Stanford University and the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bayreuth (Germany) under the supervision of David Stadelmann and Mario Larch, where I was also affiliated with the German Research Foundation's Cluster of Excellence "Africa Multiple" (EXC52).Â
In my research, I apply modern micro-econometric methods, specifically quasi-experimental designs, to address questions situated in both development and public health contexts. I particularly enjoy investigating large-scale datasets as well as geospatial data to generate policy-relevant evidence on human wellbeing and socioeconomic development.
You can find my CV here.
